Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center is located in Las Vegas Nevada. It was a privately run institution until 2004 when the Nevada Department of Corrections took over operations. The current capacity of this facility is 950 adult females.
Florence McClure Women's Correctional Center has a dedicated mental health department that offers mental health treatments to offenders. Inmates are also given medical, dental, and substance abuse treatment while incarcerated. Additionally inmates can earn a High School Equivalency (HSE) and receive vocational training in computers.
- General Population inmates have visitation on Fridays from 10:30am-7pm (Visitor processing is from 10am-10:30am, 12pm-1pm, 4pm-5pm). Saturday and Sunday visits are from 8am-4pm (processing is from 7:30am-8:30am and 12pm-1pm).
***All Segregation inmates must call between Wednesday and Friday by noon a week prior to schedule a visit.***
- Administrative Segregation inmates have visitation on Mondays from 8am-10:45am, visitors may only enter into visitation between 8am-10am.
- Protective Segregation inmates have visiting on Mondays from 1pm-4pm, visitors are processed into visitation between 1pm and 2:30pm.
- Disciplinary Segregation inmates have non-contact visits on Mondays from 1pm-4pm. Visitors may enter between 1pm-2:30pm.
